Facilitating meetings and workshops

In addition to our training workshops & master classes we frequently facilitate meetings on behalf of other organisations such as destination management or marketing partnerships. These events are often aimed at bringing disparate partners together and working out the best way forward or brainstorming different promotional opportunities.

Work includes chairing board meetings as well as facilitating consultation workshops for organisations ranging from local tourism partnerships, local authorities, regional development agencies and national tourist baords.

The Tourism Network can also run major events on your behalf, taking care of any or all arrangements from developing the initial programme, finding and briefing speakers, promoting the events, providing online booking faciities, and chairing the event.

Examples of our highly successful events include the VisitBritain Heritage and Cultural Tourism Business Forum, VisitBritain Cultural Tourism Workshop and Tourism Network North East Tourism Conference for One NorthEast. We are currently running a programme of master classes and continuous professional development opportunities for the Tourism Management Institute.
